Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using CompanyTrack.

1. Definitions

  • "CompanyTrack" means the website and any applications, software, or services we make available through it, including on mobile devices.
  • "Services" means the online services we provide on CompanyTrack for information about companies, directors, shareholders, and related business intelligence data.
  • "Terms" means these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any amendments or additional terms and policies we introduce from time to time.

3. Accounts and Security

To access certain features of CompanyTrack, you may need to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at purchase).

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

4.4 Payment Failures

If any payment fails or is declined, you remain responsible for the outstanding amount. We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access to subscription features if fees are not paid on time.

5. Acceptable Use

When using CompanyTrack, you agree not to:

  • Use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access CompanyTrack or extract data from it.
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any data or content obtained from CompanyTrack.

6. User Content

CompanyTrack may allow you to save searches, create watchlists, add notes, and store other user-generated content. You retain ownership of any content you create. By storing content on CompanyTrack, you grant us a limited licence to host and display that content to you as part of providing the Services.

You are solely responsible for any content you create or store on CompanyTrack. You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any user content that, in our opinion, does not comply with these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in CompanyTrack and the content we provide (including but not limited to text, data, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by us or our licensors.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use CompanyTrack and the Services for your own internal business or personal use. You may not:

Content on CompanyTrack does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or investment advice. You should carry out your own independent enquiries and seek professional advice before making any business or investment decisions based on information found on CompanyTrack.

Any AI-generated analysis or insights provided on CompanyTrack are produced by automated systems and may contain errors. Such content should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgement.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total aggregate liability for any valid claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9.2 Consumer Users

If you use CompanyTrack for private, non-commercial purposes, we have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. If CompanyTrack damages your device or digital content due to our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you, provided you have followed any advice we have given regarding updates and meet minimum system requirements.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using CompanyTrack, you acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy.

You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

19. Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of our rights or obligations at any time without your consent, provided that the transfer will not adversely affect your rights under these Terms.
